We are delighted to have Pandorafest at the BEAUTIFUL:

Duncarron Medieval Village!

The Duncarron Medieval Village project and the members of the Clanranald Trust are building a full-sized  fortified medieval village!  It really is a site to behold and is a perfect backdrop for a music festival.

DIRECTIONS AND TRAVEL INFO

Duncarron is located within Carron Valley which is to the east side of the Carron Valley reservoir.

This is accessible via the B818, which runs from Denny to Fintry.

You can also access this road from Kilsyth, via the Tak-Ma-Doon road to Carronbridge, or New Line Road from Whins of Milton near the Bannockburn Heritage Centre.

The location is also near the Carron Valley Mountain Bike Trails.

The nearest postcode to the site is FK6 5JL – this will take you to the cottages on the opposite side of the B818.

Unfortunately, there is no public transport that runs to the fort.  The nearest train station is Stirling, approximately 12km from Carron Valley.

We are unable to provide a shuttle bus for the event so please plan your journey in advance.  We apologise for any inconvenience

Below are some taxi numbers from Stirling which has a station only 12km from Duncarron Medieval Village.  Both taxi companies know the location of the fort and are aware of the festival.
